Executive Vice President And Branch Manager Emeritus At Equitable Advisors
Tim Mackie's career with Equitable began in 1987 and over the years, he has been the recipient of several distinguished awards to celebrate his dedication, leadership and accomplishments. Over the last 15 years of his career, Tim was an Executive Vice President / Branch Manager for Equitable and he oversaw executive responsibilities for the Great Lakes Branch in Michigan and Northern Ohio where there are over 200 financial professionals and 50 managers/staff personnel.
Tim was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and he is married to his high school girlfriend, Karen, and they have three children, Kwency, Wynston and Timme.
Tim is an active member with the National Association of Black Accountants, Booker T. Washington Business Association, Tuskegee Airmen, 102nd United Stated Colored Troops Re-enactment Group and the Double OO Riders Association. He also served in the United States Air Force and retired at the rank of Captain.
A lover for warm weather and the outdoors Tim enjoys horseback riding and when time permits he participates in strenuous adventure trips such as the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert, which covers over 150 miles in 6 days, known as the toughest foot race on earth. He also enjoys playing his saxophone, listening to jazz music, or participating in civil war re-enactments in his spare time.
